  1. 1. There are some ruins still left about Dunleer. Those old ruins and monasteries were built in commeration of some great person who lived at that time.
    2. About three miles up the mountain road there are ruins of an old monastery. It is said that in olden times the monks used live there, and about fifty yards from that there is the place where they used steep flax.
