    and also three good teams in Drogheda, but every time they played Tullyallen won.
    After a great defeat Drogheda challenged Tullyallen five pound a side to play them again in Phoenix Park. Tullyallen team accepted the challenge, and the game was played in Phoenix Park which Tullyallen team won.
    Mr.Pentony Drybridge was so delighted with the game that he ordered a half barrel of ale for the Tullyallen team, and, they say themselves that they went to the public house the Monday following and never enjoyed such a night.
    At that time no number of points would equal a goal.
