  2. A couple about to get married were a long time looking for a house. At last, they found one which pleased them. On returning home they were quiet for a while, then suddenly the bride-to-be asked if there was a W.C. attached to the house. The groom said he did not know, but they decided to write and ask the landlord. The landlord did not understand the terms W.C. and after thinking it over for some time came to the conclusion that it meant "Wesleyan Chapel" so he answered the letter as follows -
    Dear Sir,
