  1. Chord Rd. got it's name from the Chord Cemetry. This cemetry is situated at the end of the road and is the oldest Cemetry in Drogheda. An underground tunnell runs from Laurences Gate to the Chord Cemetry. There are two big stones where the gates used be. A Convent once stood there but only the walls remain. A little Church is still in the Graveyard and Mass is said every Monday morning.
