- The Hanging Field is a field on the farm of John Bellew, Staleen, Donore. It got it's name because it is hanging down towards the river.

- The Lots are small fields along the River Boyne at Roughgrange on the farm of James McDonnell. They were used by the monks of Mellifont as drying places for their nets.
