  2. Garrett Reilly works on the estate of a lady named Mrs Fowler. Last year one of Garrett's daughters got married and Mrs Fowler graciously attended the wedding and breakfast.
    The bride displayed her presents - among which were a pair of hansdome lamps - to her distinguished guest.
    Reilly said she had yon lamps like that when you got married?
    "No maam" said he when I was married it was a rush meaning of course a rushlight.
