    following morning portions of her hair were seen on the bushes on the side of the main road. This led to an examination and it was found that the remains were taken up. For many year after few internments took place in Loughsallagh. Fr Grennan PP Dunboyne who died in 1877 attended the girl in her last illness. This old churchyard is circular in shape and St Michaels well is in centre of it. Stations were made to this well up to 150 years ago.
