- (continued from previous page)before his death which occured on May 7th of that same year he was reconsiled to the church by Father Graham, an Augustian friar. There was "no issue to his marriage. By his will he bequeathed the Dunboyne estate to Maynooth and in law suit that followed at the Trim Asseyes. Father Graham was examined to elicit whether he had administered the Last Sacraments. On refusing to reveal the secrets of the confessional he was sentenced to imprisonment for contempt of court. The case however ended in favour of Maynooth.
