    Hamwood is one of the oldest estates round Dunboyne. It was owned by Mr Charles Hamilton who is the sixth direct descendant of the same name.
    He also has a son named Charles. The family lived in Hamwood for the past three hundred years. Members of the same family lived in Ballymacoll and Vesington too - the adjoining estate.
    The present family live in a smaller house on the estate and they set the house to wealthy Americans. The Castle is also a very old
