  1. 3 June (Continued) The Huckster's shop
    There is a huckster's shop in Kilcock not too far from home. There are dishes, combs, pans, brushes, kettles, buckets sold in it. It is a very small shop.
    Pedlars are not usually seen around this district now. They sell laces, thread, safety pins and wool. They go around house to house. They usually go around by foot, more times they have a donkey and cart.
    The rag man went around with a cart selling delph and exchanging delph for rags and horse hair.
