- Knocktown is the townland beside my townland. It is a small townland. There are three houses in it. Knocktown House a herd's house, and a cottage. The oldest man in it is seventy five years of age. This old man cannot speak Irish.
The division between Curtistown and Knocktown is a very high ditch with high bushes growing on top of it.
