- The flax field is situated in Swainstown. It is called that name because flax was planted there.
The brick field was so called because people made bricks in it some years ago. It is situated in Swainstown, Kilmessan.
The Bull field is a field with a good fence around it to keep in a bull.
The Barley field was a field which nothing grew in it but barley.
Horse hill is situated in Kilcarty at the back of Miss Geraghty's house. There are a number of trees there where the soldiers used to tie their horses during the war.
The Well field is so called because there is a well in it.
