- The name of the townland in which I live is Anneville, in the parish of Clonard, and in the Barony of Upper Moy Finrath. There are about 8 families in the townland. There are about 29 people in the townland. Some of the houses are built of stone, and others are built of mud. There are no very old people living there. The people in my townland do not speak Irish. There are no good story tellers in my townland. People did not emigrate from this townland for the past twenty years. The townland of Anneville is not mentioned in any song. The land is good. There are no woods, only the ordinary trees growing there.
There are no rivers, lakes, or streams, in my townland.
