58. A woman in Drewstown had the cure of rhumatism. She had an herb growing in her garden called "Marsh Mallows". She would roast it and mix it with lard till it was an ointment.
Sty or Blasts
59. There was a woman called Mrs Finn living in Girley. She had the cure of stys or Blasts in the eye. She would give ointment.
60. A man in Robinstown had also a cure for sore eyes. He would get a bowl of water and when you looked into the water the sty was in it. If he knew it, and you far away he could cure you also.(continues on next page)- Collector
