  1. It is said that if potatoes are planted in the month of June they are called the June relievers. It is said to be lucky to begin to plough on a Friday. It is unlucky to swap a horse across a drain on a Friday or Monday. There are lucky and unlucky days for getting married on. Monday is for Health. Tuesday for wealth. Wednesday the best day of all. Thursday for crosses. Friday for losses, and Saturday no day atall.
    It is said that if you wash clothes on a Saturday you won't have a moments luck. You should'nt dig a hole to bury any animal on a Monday or you will be burying another the Monday after.
