scream on this fair lawn and it was
then their lot for to be shot and die
    on sweet Lough Bawn
    VI
    A round sweet Loughcrew I took a
    view and on by Summerbank,
it is there you will see grand
quality in numbers they do rank and
the bonny lark from day to dark
came whistling o'er the lawn and if
it could speak with it's small
beak good morning sweet Lough Bawn
    V
From the lands of France they do
advance and cross the ocean wide,
And into Dublin town of fine renown,
back down by the Shannon side, in
frost and rain they take a train
and land on this fair lawn and
they sup and dine and drink strong wine on the banks of sweet Lough Bawn
