Some days were considered unlucky to be married on. The old people had a rhyme on the unlucky days of the week in which to be married. This was the rhyme they had. "Monday for health, Tuesday for wealth, Wednesday the best day of all, Thursday for losses, Friday for crossed, and Saturday the worst day of all. It was also considered unlucky for two brothers or two sisters to be married in the one year but I think the luckiest day to be married is no day at all.
