    together one night to go and kill the man. A band of the English soldiers overheard their conversation and twenty-six of them gathered all around the house and told the old man what the Catholics were going to do. At ten o'clock that night one of the Catholics went to see if he was within. He seen [saw] the soldiers all around the house and went back to tell his companions that the English were at the house. Immediately they were surrounded and all the Catholics were killed.
