    were played on nearly every car. A long drive was taken before they returned home. They were continually cheering and were heartily cheered by every labourer in the fields as they passed by. At three or four o'clock in the evening the "hauling home" or leaving for the bridegroom's house took place. There a great dance was held till next moring. At every wedding strawboys would come and dance for a few hours.
