Informant - Mr James Godfrey, Bigwood, Castlepollard.Ballyknock, Collinstown is in the parish of Mayne. - There was a poet in this district.
His correct name was Jimmy Smyth but was locally known as "The Long Fellow".
He was born in Ringtown and was near eighty when he died. He was buired in Kilcumney, Collinstown.
