- (continued from previous page)the seven lakes were there. A white horse was drowned in it. The names of the lakes are, Bishop's Lough and two joining the Bull's Island, Welshe's Lough, Boilen's Lough, Fagan's Lough and Gaynor's Lough. The stream that passes through the seven lakes rises in a little well in Maxwell's farm. After passing through the lakes it goes through Tuitestown where it turns a corn-mill at Shaws and then flows to join the upper Enny drainage. There is a small wood growing beside the lakes.
