  2. At Cummerstown, about three miles from Collinstown, there is a field on Fay's farm where a lone bush grows. A long time ago, a man named Thomas Lynch dreamt that there was golden treasure buried under the lone bush. Three men were named in the dream & they were to rise the gold. After a fortnight they went to dig for the treasure. When they had dug a foot in depth, they heard noises and got afraid & stopped work until the next morning. When they removed the flag the next day , the gold was gone. They went to an old man & told him the story. This man informed them that the gold was removed to another field & placed at a fort where it is supposed to be to this day.
