  1. There is a graveyard situated in Killua which is in the district of Clonmellon.
It is so old that some of the headstones are out of place by constant digging, also some of the paths are over-grown, and indeed nearly every bit of it is over-grown by weeds, nettles and moss
Another proof of its age is the dates that are written on the head-stones. One head-stone dates from twelve hundred, which is the oldest in the grave-yard.
So many people were buried there that there is hardly any more room to bury any more people, so that we are badly in need of a new grave-yard.
An attempt was once made to tidy up the grave-yard by asking people to keep the graves of their dead relatives clean. But as there were so many people buried there who had no living relatives the effort was a failure.
    But some improvments were made.
