Weather Lore.
Wet Weather
When it is going to rain;
1. Dogs eat grass.
2. Hills look near.
3. Birds fly low.
4. A circle is seen around the moon.
5. Northern lights are seen in the sky.
6. Blue blazes are seen in the fire.
7. Clouds seem low and black.
8. Walls and rocks sweat.
9. The leaves of Ash trees turn up.
10. Sheep graze early in the morning.
11. Rainbows are seen in the sky in the morning.
12. Soot falls down the chimney.
13. The south wind blows.
14. The sun meets the wind going down.
15. The sun sets pale or in a bank of clouds.
16. Water rise in the drains.
