Sun - When the sky in the East is red at sunrise it is a sign of rain. It is called "The Dublin Red" here, because Dublin is to the East. When the sky is red at sunset it is the sign of fine weather.Moon - A ring around the moon denotes a storm and bad weather. The bigger the ring the nearer and worse the strom.
