  1. My Home District
    The name of my district is Coolatore, Parish of Kill, Barony of Moycashel. There are fifteen families in Coolatore and about sixty people. The family name most common is Grennan. There are twelve slated houses and three thatched ones. The word Coolatore means "back of the beech". The people that are over seventy are Christopher Keegan. John Grennan, Tom and Nora Barry all of Coolatore Rosemount. They can't speak Irish but they are able to tell stories in English.
