  1. There are three graveyards in this parish, two very old ones and one not so old. One of the old ones is situated in Kilmahinch, Moate. It is round in shape very few people are buried in it now.
    There was a monastery there at one time and then monks who lived in it are buried in the graveyard. It is still called The Monastery Churchyard or Monaster.
