    Long ago in the year of 521 there was a Saint born at Gratan.
    Saint Colmcille founded a great many monasteries. One of these is in Durrow in the King's Co. The chapel can be seen still also the mass bell out side of the door. There are also his cross and his well. The 9th of June each year is a holiday in Durrow and a prossession takes place after
