    government has now divided Clonlost and Sion Hill ranches and just at present, twenty grand little house are being erected on neat farms of 26 acres - those farms and houses in almost every case having been given to descendants of the poor families evicted in 1651.
    The landlord did not punish for trivial acts, but indeed the bad deeds of Cromwell's soldiers in the area will never be forgotten.
    Tithes were collected in former times about 1900. People were too suppressed to refuse payment and so the money was given to England's men while our own poor men, women and children were starving.
