“Lord Longford was the Lord of this place.”
Lord Longford was the Lord of this place. He built houses for the people that were poor. They were only living there as tenants. He also sank pumps and drained the bogs for the people. He paid men to do this work. He also made bridges going into the bogs. He ended his career in Turkey in defence of the British Empire.
