A wedding procession is held in some places. Those who attended the wedding raced againist each other on horses on the way home. Wives sat on the horses with their husbands.
There are many superstitions connected with the colours worn by the bride on the day of marriage. Such as,
Married in blue you are sure to be true.
Married in green you would rather you never be seen.
Married in black you will wish yourself back.
Married in grey you wil live far away.
Married in brown you will live in a town.
Married in white you will live a fine life.
There are many superstitions connected with the days also.
