“The soldier's acre ...”
The soldiers acre. - This field is in Ballygarvey. The soldiers used to drill there long ago. There was a dual fought there in years gone by.
The cave field. - About three fields from the above mentioned field there is a field called the "cave-field". There is a cave in it. Some years ago the owners of the land opened the cave. They found some battle-axes, hammers and chisels.
