    Mary Whelan (R.I.P.) Lisnagree cured sore eyes. (styes) by pointing a gooseberry thorn three times at sore. She put it away to wither, - according as it withers the sore disappears.

    CURE FOR WHOOPING COUGH
    A) Have child pass three times under belly of an ass. Cure attributed to the cross on asses back.
    B) To eat bread baked by woman who has not changed her name on marriage.

    CURE FOR WORT
    A) Allow snail to crawl over it
    2) Count them etc
    Jim Casey of Lisnagree cures them
    Cure for skin disease - Wild-fire. Rub it over with blood of a person surnamed WALSH
