In Mr Mooneys estate is an old fort. Many old spear-heads and axes, were found in it by Mr Mooney. He had them sent to the Museum. Some years ago he dug in the fort and found a subterranean passage roofed with large flag-stones, which were transported, he discovered, by human labour, from the neighbouring district of Loughill.- Collector
