- There are three forges in this parish namely Bill Foxe's, Mike Ward's of Tobberclair and Dan Hynes' of Glasson. The Foxes were smiths for more than a hundred years. All those forges are situated on the roadside.
- My father has a forge. This has been built over a hundred years. The roof is thatched, the door is curved at the top. There is only one fire-place and there is a bellows near it. There is a handle out of the bellows which you(continues on next page)
