    thing like this. These beds were placed against the walls. Side of bed next the wall being made of boards up as far as the "camp".

    This covering was papered inside and outside. Hangings of white lace were nicely arranged on the outside of the "Camp" or covering.
    The bottom of bed was made of boards laid closely together. On these clean straw was placed, and on this a feather tick. In some cases wool was used instead of feathers.
