   churning it is blurred and when the churning is done the glass gets clear. Water is poured in during the churning so that it will be done sooner. There are two little hands called "pats" and these are used for the lifting out of the butter and the making of it. Buttermilk is used to make bread.

   IV Long ago a certain woman went into a house and the people were churning there. After a short time the woman went out of the house, the people kept on churning. They could not get any butter on the churning. At last they had to call in the woman again and they said to her, "In the name of God put you hand to this churn and try will you get any butter on it." She did so and in a cuple of minutes there was a whole lot of butter on the milk.
