    12) Offerings were made on completion of station.
    13) These offerings consisted of anything and everything.

    17) Pilgrimages were very frequent about 200 years ago. A great monastery here and people came from all parts to be taught. No pilgrimages now. Not suppressed but gradually became extinct except for occasional visitors to do Patterns at any time of year.
