    There is a fairy tree in Thomastown near Athlone which is called "The fairy church".
    It is a tree hollowed in the centre and has stones all around it.
    People say that before day-break a fairy priest comes out, and a lot of other fairies sit around on the stones and the fairy priest says Mass.
