    A local cure for toothache is to put a spoonful of whiskey into the tooth and hold the face near the fire.
    Cures by Blessed Well
    People go to "Lady Well" Newtowncashel and do Stations around it for penance. It is supposed to be a cure for Rheumatism.
    Rock Water
    The water that is in holes in the rocks is said to be a cure for warts. These holes are supposed to be made by giants' fingers as they walked along.
    Snails
    Another cure for warts is to rub a snail
