There were four trees growing beside the graveyard. Every night about twelve o'clock these trees went on fire and the dead man was thrown up out of his grave. The landlord thought it was some of the Catholics who took up the dead man. Therefore, he left men to guard the grave and the same thing kept going on until at last they had to take away the corpse and, bury it in a Protestant graveyard. These trees have been seen until a few years ago. No leaves have ever been seen growing on them.
