  2. The number of hens generally kept in a farmers house is about fifty. Every year there is a fresh batch of chicken's hatched and the old hens are sold. It is a custom not to hatch any eggs in the month of June. They say it is not right to wash eggs before putting them down to hatch. The food that is for the hens is
