The forts used to be made of bushes and a high ditch around. There is a fairy fort in Adam's field, but it is nearly dug away. There was once a man coming home from gambling when one of the fairy men got out before him and would not let him go until he gave him something. The fairy men used to dress in a red jacket and a green cap. The old people say that it is not right to interfere with a fairy fort.
