    A Story about The Holy Family
    5th May, 1938.
    There are not many stories told about the holy family in this district of Granard, Co. Longford, but the one I heard of locally is:- There was a man long ago, and he was going to build a new house for the one he had was a very old one.
    So he made up his mind to begin the work on a Wednesday as he considered it a very lucky day to make a beginning.
    He had no one to help him so he said to himself that he would be the whole year building it.
    He knocked the old house down, and then night came on and he went to bed, and the next morning all the things necessary to build the house were outside ready
