- On St Stephen's day it is the custom that wren boys go from house to house dressed on old clothes. They play music and dance in houses.
On St Brigid's day there are celebrations and prayers in the houses and convents.
People wear Shamrocks on St Patrick's day.

On Ash Wednesday ashes is blessed and people put it on their foreheads.
Holy Oil is mixed with balm and blessed by the bishop on Holy Thursday.

On Easter Sunday the Commeration of Our Devine Lord is celebrated.
On Whit Sunday the Holy Ghost descended on the Apostles in the form of tongues of fire and Whit Monday is a bank holiday.
On May day we put up May bushes.
St Peter and Paul's day is a holiday of obligation.
