    You must have oaten meal. Soak it in cold water and let it soak and it is then ready for use. It is a lovely drink in the Summer.
    Senia
    You must procure seed at the chemist. You then boil it in water for about a quarter of an hour or more. It is usually used for a medisine for the bowels.
    Blood Puddings
    When a goose or a pig is killed they catch the blood. They add very little onions, oaten meal, pepper and salt and it is these that make the blood puddings.
