  1. "The old people say there are certain days of the week on which it is unlucky to get married.
    It is an old custom to tie a boot on the car, in which the bride and groom are. It is said that if you marry in September you will have no luck and your flocks will all die. It's also unlucky for the bride to go back to her father's home, before she's a month married.
    It is said that a bride should wear "something old and something new, something borrowed and something blue" on her wedding day.
