    A cure for a sting of a wasp. Tie a slice of an onion to it.
    Cure for whooping cough. Get the child's god-father or god-mother to tie a red ribbon round the child's neck.
    A cure for warts. If you come across a stone with a hole in it and water in the hole, rub the water to the wart and it will wither away.
    A cure for boils is chicken-weed roasted on a coal. Rub butter on it and put it to the boils.
    A cure for sore throat is garlick boiled in new milk and drink it.
