  1. There are many sayings about the weather long ago such as if the sun was up very early in the morning it is a sign of bad weather.
    If the moon is on it's back it is the sign of bad weather.
    If there is a big ring round the moon it is the sign of rain.
    If the clouds are rolling along at a terrible rate it is the sign of a storm.
    If the sky is very red that is the sign of a storm.
    "A rainbow in the morning a Shepherds warning".
    "A rainbow at night a shepherds delight.
    If there is a lot of stars it is the sign of frost.
    When the sky is dark and has no stars that is the sign of rain.
    When a fog goes fog goes up the rain comes down.
    When the fog comes down that is the sign of good weather.
    When cat sits with her back to the fire that is the sign of rain.
