If the Sponsor of the Person does it without being told it is supposed to be a Cure for Whooping Cough.
Cure for stye on the eye:- Point a Gooseberry thorn to your eye for nine mornings and on the tenth throw it away.
Cure for sore Eyes:- A fasting spittle, cold tea with milk or sugar.
Cure for Common Coughs:- Dock-root, garlic or dandelion.
Cure for burns:- If a person licks a man - keeper it cures a burn on the tongue.
Cure for Sore Throat;_ roasted Salt or roasted Potatoes.
Cure for Jaundice:- Go out at night and dig up a worm with a Candle light, roast the worm and make it into a Powder.
